In Jacksonville, Florida, working at Elk Roofing in Georgia, working as a foreman for DeKalb County Sanitation, and finally working as a security officer for Pinkerton at Western Electric.
Survivors include his three children, Janice Bobell Dobbs (Lee, deceased), Nancy Bobell Johnson (Terry), and William Thomas (Tom) Bobell, Jr. (Rebekah); seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
