He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved him.

Some of my fondest memories include visiting Uncle Darden’s house. He and Aunt Barbara were the epitome of Southern grace and hospitality. I couldn’t get enough of those delicious Southern biscuits! I also looked forward to taking a spin in his spotless Ford Model A, which brought him and everyone so much joy. I even remember that ooga ooga-ooga horn!
What a wonderful man and a blessing to all fortunate enough to spend time with him. He was one of those rare people whose warmth you just naturally sink into. I’ve always admired how genuine, thoughtful, kind, and cheerful he was, and I am a better man for having known Darden Beaty.
Heaven just got an all-star soul!
Love,

My family and I met Mr. Darden, Mrs. Barbara, Susan and Beth in 1961. We started out as neighbors in Atlanta and remained dear friends for life. Mr. Darden was always a kind gentle man. I have so many wonderful memories. He taught
me to swim and dive at the age of four. My family and I went on vacations together with the Beaty family and spent many years together attending a small church in Atlanta. My heart goes out to the Beaty family during this time. He will be greatly missed until the day comes when we are reunited again. I am so grateful for my time with such a wonderful godly man.
