Brian Keith DeHaas of Smyrna, GA passed away November 18, 2025.He was born October 7, 1965 in Marietta, GA to Kenneth and Penny DeHaas. He attended King Springs Elementary School,Griffin Middle School, and Campbell High School, class of 1983. Brian worked at Lockheed Martin, Auto Ventshade, and David Lord Landscaping. He is preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Kay, grandparents Susie and Melvin Nagel, and Sam and Vivian DeHaas.Brian is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Penny DeHaas of Smyrna, siblings Donna (Jim) Murray of Arlington, TN,Robbie (Dell) DeHaas of Dallas, GA, and Danny (Betty) DeHaas of White, GA.He also leaves behind nieces Jennifer Beard, Melanie LaRoche, and Annabelle DeHaas, and nephew Lee DeHaas.Brian is also survived by many devoted childhood friends. Brian spent his childhood exploring the great outdoors and developing a love for the Chattahoochee River.Many fond memories were made with his friends as they floated along its gentle currents. Brian grew up idolizing the Atlanta Braves.His love for baseball extended beyond just watching; he played in local leagues for many years.Brian lived a life full of passion, laughter, and love for the simple pleasures that brought him joy. Celebration of Life ceremony will be held Friday, November 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, 1861 Dallas Highway in Marietta, with interment to follow.
