David Keith Parris

June 18, 1958 ~ December 4, 2025

David Keith Parris, 67, passed away on December 4, 2025. He was born on June 18, 1958, in Birmingham, Alabama. David, also known as Keyman, worked with his dad at Big Moe Spring & Alignment until Moe sold. He then moved to Atlanta to start a new Big Moe. He worked in the spring department of the new shop until he took over the business with his sisters and brother-in-law, Mark Brittain, in April of 1991. From there, he went on to continue a legacy that was passed down to a third generation. He enjoyed his grandchildren and playing cards with friends. Keyman will be remembered by many for his generosity and big, forgiving heart. He was preceded in death by his father, Hewel Herrin Parris. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Jayna Mitchell Parris. David is also lovingly remembered by his children Brenna Parris Patterson, Nathan Keith Parris, and Tyler Moe Parris; mother Dolores Burleson Parris; sisters Victoria Parris Averett, Pamela Parris Flynn, and Teresa Parris Brittain; grandchildren Steven Lee Parris, Jackson Wyatt Parris, Kylie Rae Patterson, Audrey Renee Wherry, Gracelynn Tatum Parris, Rylynn Lucille Parris, and Oakley Jane Parris; great grandchild Alaia Marie Parris; nieces Megan Colene Crane, Jody Renee Cleary, Brandy Jean Hefner, and Montana Lee Brittain; and nephews James Brian Hunter and Marcus Dakota Brittain. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. No longer in pain, REST IN PEACE. The family would like to give a special thanks to the caretakers at Powder Springs Center for Nursing and Healing.
