Marie Claire Anacreon

Marie Claire Anacreon was born, on June 18, 1945, in Belair Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to Hermite Anacreon and Alcy Jean-Paul. She fell asleep in death on December 20, 2025, at the age of 80 in Marietta, Georgia. Marie Claire was trained as a teacher at L’ecole Normal of Port-Au-Prince. She worked as schoolteacher in her home country for many years. She enjoyed teaching both children and adults. She loved traveling and cooking. Music was her passion, and she passed her love of music on to all her children. She will be remembered most for her generosity and open heart—always ready to welcome others with a warm meal. Her compassion extended far beyond her immediate family, shown through the two children she adopted, the many nieces and nephews she lovingly took in, and the countless others she helped along the way. She will truly be missed for that. She is survived by: Sisters (3): Carole Jeanot, Mirlande Jeanot, and Elsie Jeanot. Children (8): Ketsia Simeus, Paul Petion, Rachel Robuste, Etzer Petion, Obed Petion, Mara Theosmy, Immaculee Jeanot and Jeff Anacreon. Grandchildren (18): Tabitha Claire Simeus, Thalia Ashna Simeus, Taija Mykara Simeus; Wesley Petion, Ashton Petion, Paul-Trishton Petion, Leah-Paul Petion, Maliah Petion; Jennica Robuste, Marshell Robuste, Gaspardy Robuste; Tevin Petion, Obeishka Petion; Marlon Theosmy, Emma Theosmy; Nigthlyca Bernadel, Jonathan Bernadel, and Natha-Liyah Bernadel. Greatgrandchildren (2): Leila Petion and Ashlynn Petion. Sons and Daughters in Law (4): James Simeus, Judith Petion, Nushka Petion and Emmanuel Theosmy. Nieces, nephews and cousins: They are so many, if ever they were mentioned in full detail, the day wouldn't be enough.
