Dorothy DuBard Summerfield

Dorothy (“Dottie”) Louise DuBard was born October 27, 1941, in Atlanta, Georgia. She died after a short illness January 3, 2026, in Austell, Georgia, where she was a resident at Presbyterian Village. She was predeceased by her parents Leroy and Dorothy Vanden DuBard, her husband Terry Donald Summerville and her niece Margaret DuBard Bills (Joe). Dottie is survived by her brother, James DuBard(Mary) of Durham, NC, her stepdaughter, Terry Rae Tolleson (James) of Huntsville, AL, niece Annette DuBard (Andrew Wang) of Chapel Hill, NC, nephew David DuBard (Deirdre Giblin) of Winchester, MA, and much loved grandnieces and nephews Shan and Nathan Wang , Maire Claire, Sophie, and Sarah DuBard, and granddaughters Sara Grace and Logan Tolleson. Dottie was a longtime member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. She had been a longtime employee of Delta Airlines. Dottie was a music lover and was a skilled seamstress and cook. She and Terry had enjoyed extensive travel experiences. “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord” (Revelation 14:13).
