We never truly know what life has in store for us. On January 14, 2026, our hearts were deeply saddened when our beloved line sister, Pamela Boykin, became an Ivy Beyond the Wall. Fourteen of us proudly became members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Chi Chapter at Talladega College, AL, in Fall 1985. Our line will forever be remembered as “14kt Gold.”
We are so thankful and blessed that we were able to celebrate our 40th AKAversary with Soror Pam in October 2025. She spearheaded the event and was unwavering in her commitment to bringing us together. Her love and determination made that milestone truly special.
Pam’s spirit, grace, and sisterly love will live on in each of us. We will cherish her memory and honor her legacy by continuing the bond she worked so hard to preserve.
Words can not begin to express my feelings at this time. Pam and I had been friends since elementary school. We shared life through elementary school, junior high school, high school, and college. Our friendship continued beyond graduation up until her passing. We were family. She is now home with God!
