Richard "Rich" David Ebers

February 2, 1962 ~ January 29, 2026

Richard “Rich” David Ebers died of pancreatic cancer on January 29, 2026, at his residence. He was only 63 years old. His family and friends are deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Rich was born on February 2, 1962 in Clinton, IA. Rich is survived by his cherished daughter, Kiernan; his brothers, Craig Ebers, James Ebers and Robert Ebers; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, James Ebers and Florence (Harding) Ebers as well as his brother Tom Ebers. Rich was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by kindness, willingness to help, and a love of learning. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, coworkers and many more whose lives were touched by him. Rich was a veteran who served in the United States Air Force. Contributions in his memory may be made to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Research in lieu of flowers (http://www.lustgarten.org/). A loving father, a loyal friend, and a man of quiet strength – forever in our hearts.
