Robert Roland Bourassa, 86, passed away on February 25, 2026.
Born August 28, 1939, to Arthur and Emma Bourassa, he is survived by his devoted wife, Janet; his sons, Alan (Wendy) and Richard (Deborah); and his loyal dog, Max. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren, Angela, Tyler, and Megan Bourassa; great-grandchildren, Kenneth and Amy Grace Partridge; sister-in-law Leanne McCutcheon; and brother-in-law Rex McCutcheon. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Donna Sinclair, Diane Belanger-Berard, Robbie Belanger, Jason McCutcheon, and Shannon McCutcheon.Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Pauline Belanger; brother-in-law, Bob Belanger; and great-grandson, Braxton Partridge.

When I look back to my fondest
Memories of Bob,this is my all time favorite picture. Yes it dates back to 1988 when Jan and Bob
became grandparents ( Mimi and Pa ) It was Angela’s first Easter. Bob came in , took Angela and didn’t let go.You could see and feel his love . Bob was more than a father in law to me . He was a second daddy. He instilled a lot of values in my life and through all these years I remember everything he taught me. The last time I got to visit Jan and Bob ,he stood up to tell me bye and as we hugged he held on so tight and didn’t let go. I knew then he knew me and that hug meant the world to me. It is a hug that was filled with love . I am truly blessed and extremely honored that my fondest memories from the beginning and in the end was a loving hug from a wonderful loving gentle but strong second Dad and best Pa ever. Rest in peace Bob! You will be missed but forever loved and treasured in our hearts until we meet again. We love you Bob ( Pa)
