Margaret Baden

November 1, 1962 ~ May 15, 2026

Born in: Atlanta, Georgia
Resided in: Kennesaw, Georgia

Margaret Baden, age 63, of Kennesaw Georgia passed away on May 15, 2026.

Born on November 1, 1962, in Atlanta, Georgia, the beloved daughter of May Tse and Jun Loo, and the cherished sister of Richard, David, George, Nancy, and Jimmy.  Margaret grew up in Grant Park, Atlanta, Georgia.  She attended Roosevelt High School where she graduated as valedictorian.

In high school she played violin in orchestra, was on the tennis team, and was in ROTC.  She worked at Six Flags over Georgia and enjoyed telling stories of people and experiences from her time there.  She graduated from Georgia State University and worked for Federated Department Stores.  In 2000 she married the love of her life and quit her job to start a family and to help care for her aging parents.  She gave birth to her son, Christopher, and soon was volunteering for roles in many of his activities, most notably in Scouting, where she was the events chair, planning many trips and events for the scouts.  Margaret loved cooking from an early age and enjoyed it all the more when she had a family to cook for.  She particularly enjoyed cooking with Christopher, and passing on her knowledge and skills to him.  Margaret was firm in her Christian faith and instilled that faith in Christopher.

In 2014 Margaret was diagnosed with Cancer.  This defined many aspects of her later years but she never let it define who she was.  She was determined to continue being a devoted wife and mother, and she succeeded beautifully and abundantly.  Margaret was unceasingly kind to those around her.  Even in her illness she seemed more concerned with the wellbeing of others than of herself.  She loved spending time with friends and family and attended all gatherings when it was at all possible, bearing pain and enduring difficulty few could comprehend, with an outward demeanor that belied her ordeal.  She was an inspiration to us all.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents and by her brother Jimmy.  She is survived by her husband Mike and son Christopher, her siblings Richard, David, George, and Nancy, and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, along with a large group of close friends, all of whom will miss her immensely.

  2. Mike and Christopher,
I am so sorry for your loss. Margaret was amazing and I know that you miss her so much. She is no longer in pain and for Margaret – “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelations 21:4) I pray for your peace,
    Molly

  3. Mike and family,
Although I did not know Margaret personally, her kindness, strength and devotion to family and faith are clearly and deeply evident in her story. Please accept my sincere condolences during this difficult time. With Sympathy, Mike “Scratch” Fitzpatrick

  4. Mike, I am so sorry for your loss. While I didn’t know Margaret, you and I go way back to our days together as co-op students. I wanted you to know that I am thinking about you and the whole family now, and praying that you find comfort in the healing that time with our remaining loved ones can bring us.

    Tracy
