Marquecious T. Bailey was born on July 11, 1993, in Atlanta, Georgia, to a loving and devoted family. She departed this life on September 5, 2026.

From an early age, Marquecious was known for her bright smile, kind heart, and caring spirit. She had a special way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and loved. Her presence was a light in the lives of all who knew her.

Marquecious was a hardworking, compassionate, and determined woman who loved her family, her friends, and helping others. She dedicated her life to caring for people, both professionally and personally. She had a genuine passion for serving others and always went above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of those around her.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music, traveling, and creating cherished memories with the people she loved. Her laughter was contagious, and her presence brought warmth and joy to every room she entered. She will forever be remembered for her strength, her kindness, her beautiful smile, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.

Marquecious was preceded in death by her mother, Chinnita Smith; maternal grandfather, Carson Pratt; paternal grandfather, Sammie Bailey; and uncle, Dexter Bailey.

Marquecious leaves behind a loving family and many cherished memories to carry on her legacy, including her father, Marcus D. Bailey, Tonia (TB) Bailey, sisters, Cameron Bailey, Fatima Smith, and Demaria Smith; brother, De’Breion Patterson; maternal grandmother, Gwendolyn Pratt; paternal grandmother, Alice Bailey; godmother, Artavius Smith; aunts, Tammy Bailey, Yulanda Smith; uncles, Darius Smith(Lakeshun Smith), Broderick Smith, nephew Dallas Patterson and a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Although her time with us was far too short, Marquecious leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, compassion, strength, and beautiful memories. Her life touched many, and her love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
