Retha Nancy Moulder

March 25, 1949 ~ July 14, 2019

Retha Nancy McElreath Moulder, age 70, passed away peacefully at her home in Marietta surrounded by loved ones on July 14th, 2019. The daughter of Harold and Corrine McElreath, now deceased, of Anderson, South Carolina. Nancy grew up in Marietta with her 5 brothers and 3 sisters. She attended local schools. She worked all her life to support her family with several different jobs including: Bus Driver for Cobb Senior Services and the Tommy Nobis center, Apartment Leasing Management and Printing Bindery. Nancy married Cecil Moulder in June of 1989. A life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 2681, Nancy served as President and other positions for over 30 years. A fun loving and generous person, she also enjoyed volunteering opportunities in serving the elderly and mentally challenged children. At Christmas time, she often dressed up as Mrs. Claus and brought joy to many. She also enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends and family. A devoted wife and wonderful mother, Nancy was also a loving Nana to her grandchildren. One of her greatest joys was caring for and spoiling them rotten. Nancy is survived by caring husband Cecil, her daughter Jennifer Ellis and husband Davis Gleaton (Katherine Carter, 7, William Ellis, 4), son James and Niki Ellis (Cristopher Evan-Lee Ellis, Chandler Champagne, Nicholas Champage), step-daughter Malinda and Michael Langston (William Michael III and Tyler Logan). Nancy’s surviving siblings include: Shirley Geneva Burgess, Mary Etta Jones, Joe McElreath and many dear nieces and nephews. The Celebration of Life for Nancy will be at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park on July 27th, 2019. Visitation will be from 10-12 with memorial service following at 12. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to www.wish.org, www.penniswithpurpose.org, www.lungcancerresearchfoundation.org or a charity of your choice.
