Claudine Leach Lovins of Mableton, Georgia passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at the age of 87.
She was born to Jack and Dussie Leach on February 2, 1932 in Douglasville, Georgia. She married Roy Lovins, Jr. on February 19, 1954, and they had three children.
In addition to being a loving wife and mother, she was a business owner and talented singer. She was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir for 20+ years. She was also a member of the Song of Atlanta Chorus of the Sweet Adelines.
Claudine is survived by her husband, Roy (Chick) Lovins; daughter, Pamela White; son, Rickey Lovins; seven grandchildren (Thomas, Jason, Stephanie, Mitchell, Brittany, Allison and Thomas); and eleven great-grandchildren (Kayla, Justin, Audrey, Lindsey, Megan, Noah, Christian, Caedmon, Alana, Ellayna and DJ). She is preceded in death by two grandsons, Adam and Daniel Lovins; her son, Allen Lovins; her parents, Jack and Dussie Leach; and her brother, Gaines Leach.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 2 - 3 p.m. in the Columbarium at Southern Cremations & Funerals at Cheatham Hill, 1861 Dallas Hwy., Marietta, GA 30064.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. in the Columbarium, and the family will receive friends following the service. Claudine's cremated remains will be place in her niche in the Columbarium following services.
