Charles Edward George Sr, age 87, of Powder Springs died September 20, 2019 at Cameron Hall of Canton.
Charles was born in Smyrna, GA on November 17, 1931 to Roberdeau and Willie Mae George. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend that will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Charles worked and retired from Lockheed Martin after 37 years of service. Charles was a member of Austell Christian Church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Bennie George, his brother Talmadge George, and sisters Betty George and Florence McKinney.
Survivors include sister Doris Marshall, sons; Charles George, II and Robert George, daughters; Carol Ivey and Margaret Shelby, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
