Ms. Tammy Carter was born on November 10, 1969 in Reno, Nevada to the late Mr. Henry Johnson and the late Mrs. Jennifer Johnson. Tammy Carter moved to Georgia at the age of 13 with her father and siblings. Tammy took on the role of mom to her brother Patrick and raised him as her own. She always took care of everyone else putting herself last. She was the foundation of the family. Tammy was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 and was a survivor. In her spare time she loved tending to her plants and her fish tank. She also loved, being with her family when they came to visit. Tammy touch so many lives and had a positive influence on her kids and many other young people who grew up around her. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be truly missed by many. She leaves wonderful memories behind with her daughter: Ashley Leon; her sons: Henry Carter and Michael Carter; her grandchildren: Lilliana, Titus, and Noah; her brother: Patrick Johnson; Her sister: Donna Johnson; her life partner: Leon Eidson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

  3. Tammy and I worked together for a long time. We shared many laughs and as well as a few tears. Tammy would bring me some of her and Phillips awesome cooking and she would share her recipes. She also taught me how to throw an adult tantrum in which when someone would see this, they thought we were crazy. Although years passed and we only kept in touch every now again, I always thought of Tammy as a close friend. She will be missed and I will forever be grateful for the friendship we had. Rest in peace Tammmeeey.
