On Tuesday September 24, 2019 Racquel (Roc) Ann Marie Mignott was called to Heaven at the age of 28, at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain in Marietta, GA.
Racquel was born on May 1, 1991 in Birmingham, Alabama. She is survived by her mother Tricia (Brandon) Cobb and her father Roger (Melissa) Jones. She also leaves cherished memories with her sisters Sydney Neal and Kendall Cobb of Marietta, GA, Ashanti of Hoover, AL, Drica (Jarrett) of Orlando, FL, T’chounda Stevens of Montgomery, AL, Destyni Neal of Indianapolis, IN and Breanda (Daniel) Davis of Auburn, AL and a brother Devontae (Breaunna) Neal of Brownsburg, IN. She is also survived by her loving grandparents Kay Mignott of Roanoke, AL, Derrick (Janice) Mignott of Lanett, AL, Bessie Jones of Lagrange, GA and Catherine Briner of Fairhope, AL. A special uncle Thelvie (Carla) of Stockbridge, GA and a special aunt Sandy (Odis) of Pueblo, CO. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Charlie Edward Jones of Roanoke, AL. She leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Racquel was also surrounded by a number of dedicated and loving friends.
Racquel graduated from Pebblebrook High School in 2009. She received a Bachelor’s of Education degree in Communications Disorders from Valdosta State University in 2014. She was pursuing her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from Valdosta State University and will be awarded her degree at a later date. Racquel was passionate about helping others and pursued this field to allow her to do that. Racquel was full of life and brought joy to everyone she met.
