Harry “Randy” Harbert, 69, of Columbus, Georgia passed away at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia on Saturday, October 19, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeanette and William Colbert Harbert and his brother Jimmy Harbert.
Survivors include his daughter, Aimee Melissa Janney of Marietta, GA; his son, Randall Scott Harbert of Ladonia, AL; his ex-wife, Nancy Harbert of Columbus, GA; his sister, Joanne Jones of Columbus, GA; and four grandchildren, Tucker, Reagan, Ashley, and Matthew.
Randy was a retired Pipefitter and was well known among his family and friends as “Paw Paw.” He was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest. If he accepted you as a friend, you were a friend for life. Randy loved sitting around cutting up and telling jokes. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Randy was cremated and did not wish to have a funeral service, as he did not want people gathering to mourn over him.

Paw Paw as I always called him would always tell you exactly how it was. He never sugar coated anything. He was that friend to tell you what you needed to hear and not just what you wanted to hear. He could always put a smile on my face no matter what was going on. I’m gonna miss you my friend!! You’ll always be in my heart. Til we meet again……
