Carole Jeanne Gresham

On Wednesday, November 13th, 2019, Carole Jeanne Gresham, amazing and dedicated mother of two passed away at the age of 71. She was born and raised in Woodbury, NJ in 1948, and made Marietta, GA her home for the past three decades. Carole was a remarkable artist and a talented gardener, with a strong spirit and determination to see the world be a better place. She had several successful years in the banking industry, and selflessly spent many of her retirement years caring for her aging mother, who suffered from Alzheimer’s. She was selfless when it came to her family and pets, and was an outstanding role model who taught us how to be independent thinkers and follow the right path. She shared her passion for art with one of her children, and experienced unique travel with the other. Both daughters inherited her feisty attitude, or maybe that was from the NJ tap water. She is survived by her two daughters, Staci Douglas and Lia Gresham, as well as her brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew. Memorial gifts may be made to the Best Friends Animal Society, https://bestfriends.org/donate Carole had a love for nature, according to her wishes her ashes will be spread in a private service at a later date.
