Mr. Edsel Hugh Davis, 82, of Plano, TX passed away on Monday, September 13, 2010. He is the son of the late Albert Eugene Davis and Kate Kerlin Davis. He is preceded in death by his wife: Joyce Lucille Davis; brother: Leon Jackson Davis. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving children: Daniel F. Davis and Alan Davis and sister: Marianne L. Davis, with many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday September 18, 2010 from 12:30 to 2:00 PM at Holly Hill Funeral Home, 431 SW Broad St. Fairburn, GA 30213 770-964-7833. Services honoring Mr. Davis will be on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 2:00pm with Rev. Tony Sullivan officiating. Marianne, Billy & I are so sorry for your loss. We are unable to make it to the Funeral Home as we have a family member in the hopsital, one in a nursing home, and one that is sick from chemo. Today is our day to do what we can for them. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
