Charles William McGregor, 90, of Union City, GA passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2011. He is the son of the late Charles McGregor and Mary McGregor. He is preceded in death by his sister: Rosemary Hiller. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife: Jessie Willard McGregor; children: Scarlett Hinrichs, Con McGregor, Bill McGregor, Hedy Akins, Ronda Derosier, Lamar Caudell, Marjorie McGregor, Marvin Turner and Wanda Cagle; sister: Martha Wilhelms; twenty five grandchildren; thirty six great grandchildren and thirteen great great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Holly Hill Funeral Home, 431 SW Broad St. Fairburn, GA 30213 770-964-7833. Services honoring Mr. McGregor will be on Wednesday, January 19, 2010 at 3:00pm with Pastor Hugh Grimmer officiating. To the family of Bill McGregor From Mary Jo (niece) daughter of RoseMary (McGregor) Hiller Learned of Uncle Bill’s passing last night. Larry ,my brother, and I wish to send you all are sympathies. No matter what or when we lose someone , it is always difficult. I remember the summer that I spent in Atlanta. 1966 Con, Scarlet and Bill you all hold fond memories for me. It is so sad that we all lose touch with oneanother. I have had a difficult year also as I lost my husband Vern suddenly August 09 .
