  1. Wes, I am so sorry for your loss! I know nothing I may say will lessen your pain now but please know that we are praying for God to comfort and strengthen you, your children and loved ones. Sincerely, Sam Wilson Woodward Class of ’81

  2. Dearest Wes and Family, I just found out from Lisa Henriott, my daughter, of Valerie’s death. I am shocked because she looked so well at Wilma and Johnny’s anniversary in August. I will keep you in my Prayers and may God be with you, ALWAYS. All My Love, Forever Josy

  3. I am in Eagles Nest with your family. I did not know you all, but prayed for you many years during her illness. I will continue to pray for you guys as you struggle to live life without momma or without wife. Words cannot say anything to help you guys through this, but continue prayers will help you through.

  4. It saddens me that I could not be there for the funeral, because of my schooling in Tennessee, but know that I very much wanted to be there to give each of you a hug. Mrs. Valerie was my chemistry teacher in high school, which some know was difficult because I have next to no capacity for math and science. She was a fantastic teacher and a wonderful wife and mother. I will be praying for you guys, I know how much it hurts to loose a close member of the family. However, take heart because we know where she is, and that’s with Jesus. She no longer has pain and will be waiting with her saviour. Hugs and love, Rachael

  5. Wanda and I just wanted to send our condolences to you and your family. I know she will be missed but she is with God now.

  6. Just to let you know that our prayers are with you as you walk this very difficult road. May God ease the burden of your loss and give you peace that only He is able to give in your time of grief. My love to Amanda and Samantha. I remember you as little girls in the homeschool choir, but know you have grown into lovely young ladies. So sorry about the loss of your mother – a wonderful lady!

  7. My deepest sympathy to the family. Valerie was a very sweet child and remained the same throughout her life. She will always be remembered.

  8. Dearest Wes and family, Having lost Charles 5 years ago, I know how difficult these days are. But I also know how faithful our Lord is in lifting you up and holding you until you are able to walk again on your own. Don’t be afraid to call on Him and on your many friends for support and love right now. We want to be there for you and your family and offer whatever we might be able to do that will help. I am thankful to have shared in Valerie’s Woodward and Jefferson Avenue days and will always remember her as a very loving and giving girl and beautiful mother, spouse, daughter and friend.

  9. May you have the peace of knowing that your Mom has gone to the place that all of us hope to go someday..she just got there a little quicker than we would have liked..My thoughts and prayers are with you…Mr. Steve (Stephen Ball)
