Mr. William Joseph "Bill" Conner age 75 of Newnan, GA passed away Sunday evening at West GA Health Center in Lagrange, GA. He was born in Atlanta, GA. He was a retired machinist and veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was the son of the late Annie Conner Conner and the late William Newton Conner. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Conner. Survivors include his wife Mattie Katherine King Conner of Newnan, GA, daughters: Patricia Walker of Union, KY, and Betty Hubbard of Hogansville, GA, sons: Ricky Spradlin of Forest Park, GA and Allen Spradlin of Brock, TX, brothers: Elmer Conner of Waco, GA, Herman Conner of Summerville, GA, and Jimmy Conner of Douglasville, GA, sisters: Gaynell Cox of Austell, GA, and Sandra Horner, of Austell, GA, 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. William Joseph "Bill" Conner will be held Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the Holly Hill Funeral Home. Reverend Tony Sullivan will officiate. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mattie, I was very sorry to hear about William. I always thought a lot of him, and you also. Will keep you in our prayers.
