William Jefferson Terrell

Mr. William J. Terrell age 83 of Riverdale, GA passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Christian Ministries Hospice. He was born in Laurel, MS. He was the son of the late Lucy Elizabeth Jordan and the late Carl Ramsey Terrell. He was preceded in death by son Alton Congo. He was a retired analyst with the Metropolitan Insurance Company and Veteran of US Army Airborne Unit. He was also a graduate of Emory University, a member of the Fairburn Masonic Lodge 180 and a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church. Survivors include wife Martha W. Terrell, Riverdale, GA daughters: Rebecca "Susie" Quinn, Douglassville, GA and Teresa Long, Riverdale, GA, seven grandchildren 16 great grandchildren and his brother John Terrell of Bruce, MS. Funeral service for Mr. William J. Terrell will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Holly Hill Funeral Home. Rev. Jurandon Hughes will be officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family Friday, May 27, 2011 from 5-8 PM at the funeral Home.
