Mary Louise Briggs

Mrs. Mary Louise Briggs age 80 of College Park, GA passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Southwest Christian Care. She was born in College Park, GA. She was the daughter of the late Leola Harris Lyons and Walter Carl Lyons. She was preceeded in death by daughter, Karla Briggs, brother, Richard Lyons and sister, Marie Hall. Mrs. Briggs was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Sharpsburg, GA. She is survived by husband Mr. William J. "Billy" Briggs, College Park, GA, sons: James W. Briggs and Timothy R. Briggs along with his wife Ginger D. Briggs, daughters: Deborah Briggs Warren along with her husband Phillip Warren and Patricia Briggs Gregory along with her husband Dr. Richard Gregory, fourteen Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren. Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Louise Briggs will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Holly Hill Funeral Home. Dr. Richard Gregory will be officiating. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery 3600 N. Adams Street, College Park, GA 30337. Friends may visit with the family Monday, June 27, 2011 from 6:30-8:30 PM at the funeral home.
