  2. My Pa PaI have lots of good memories about my Pa Pa. When I was a little girl, he taught me how to cast a reel. He put a weight on the end of a fishing pole, and would sit with me out in the yard, and practice with me over and over. I think Amy, Ross, and maybe Tyler all learned to “fish” with that pole. He also taught me how to pick green beans and cut corn off the cob-EVERY gardening season. I could tell him I knew what I was doing, but he always wanted to just “remind me in case I had forgotten.” My most cherished memories are of Ma Ma and Pa Pa coming over to my Mom and Dad’s house, and he and I would play Southern Gospel songs-me on piano, and Pa Pa on guitar. He and Ma Ma would sing. That’s how I learned all of the old songs. I love you, Pa Pa!

  3. Favorite MemoriesMy all time favorite memories of Mr Joe, all of us meeting at their family home & him playing the guitar and us singing with some of the best food and best company you could ever ask for! Definately one of the great souls ! Ms. Edna Love ya’ll and praying for your family What a day that will be !! There’ll be no sorrow there no more burdens to bear No more sickness no pain no more parting over there And forever I will be with the One who died for me What a day glorious day that will be What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see And I look upon His face The One who saved me by His grace When He takes me by the hand And leads me through the Promised Land What a day glorious day that will be

  4. Wedding AnniversaryThis a picture of mom and dad’s 60th wedding anniversary. They were married 62 years in April. They ran away together from a rural Alabama town to Georgia when Mom was 16 and dad was 18 to be married. Like all marriages they saw their ups and downs, but never decided to give up. If you are lucky enough to know my dad you know my mom had to be a strong woman. Dad thought mother hung the moon and he loved her very much. One of his greatest joys was taking care of her. Dad was a hard worker and enjoyed gardening.

  6. Our thoughts and prayer are with all of you. It’s hard to give them up but just to know they are not hurting anymore makes it easier. Love to all, we will see you on Wednesday.

  7. DR SOMANI & STAFF(PIEDMONT FAYETTE HOSPITAL) says:

teresa & the Pruitt family, we will miss Mr Pruitt dearly. GOD BLESS

  8. I love you all! I know that we haven’t always been close but just know that we are always in each others hearts. I will keep you in my prayers. I had a dream that Dad and Granddaddy were fishing and there was an extra pole and chair. I saw uncle Fain go and take the pole and they all were laughing and smiling!
