Catherine Causey Clark, age 95, of Union City, Georgia passed away on November 3, 2011. She is survived by the following children: Sons, Ed Causey and his wife Sue, Bo Causey and his wife Sandra, Daughter Lorraine Griffin; Grandchildren: Eddie Causey, Mike Causey, Jason Causey, Brandon Causey, Sheryl Evans, Shannon Owen, Stephanie Phillips & Ginny Moore; 18 Great Grandchildren & 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. Catherine was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1916 and has lived off and on in the metro Atlanta area for the last 55 years. She was a long time member of the Beta Sigma Phi and the D.A.R. She was also a member of the Lester Road Christian Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, November 12, 2001 at Lester Road Christian Church, 3900 Newton Drive, Fairburn. Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. In Lieu of Flowers, Donations can be made to Southwest Christian Care. Catherine inspired and encouraged me in more ways than I can count. This was her character – to bring out the best in everyone she met and help everywhere she could, her hands were always busy and she was ready for the next project, not to keep but to give away! She loved the DAR and Tamassee DAR School – we are all the happy recipients of God’s grace shining forth through Catherine – a beautiful lady and mentor for me for many years! See you again, Catherine!
Dear Family, The service for Catherine was a heart warming celebration of a life well lived. Catherine and my parents and husband and I were in the same church for seveal years. My father died 13 years before Catherine and my mother died 9 years before. They loved Catherine, and I like to think they have now seen one another again. I count it a privilege for being able to visit Catherine over the years and for our friendship. May God bless each of her children for allowing friends to witness the love and support shown to Catherine. I shall truly miss her but know she is safe in the arms of her Father.
