Mr. Raymond Jackson Morris, age 76, of Jonesboro, GA passed away on Friday, November 18, 2011 at his Piedmont Fayette Hospital. He was born in Flowery Branch, GA, son of the late John Jackson Morris and the late Mamie Ruth McDougald. He was a member of the American Legion and the Metro Daylight Masonic Lodge #743 F. & A. M. He was preceded in death by stepdaughter, Deborah Denise Easterwood. Survivors include wife, Carolyn Morris of Jonesboro, GA, daughter, Regina Lugena of Tatoosa, OK, son, Bonner Raymond Morris of Chelsea, OK, stepchildren Rebecca Smith of Griffin, GA, Ray Tidwell of Panama City Beach, FL, Steve Dean Holt of Conyers, GA, Rodney Eugene Holt of Douglasville, GA, James Cox of Chelsea, OK, Sharon Lynn Dean of Myrtle Beach, SC, sister, Faye Welbron of Braselton, GA, 17 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Jackson Morris will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 2:30 PM in the chapel of Holly Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Don Rusk officiating.
