Michael Emmerich Turner Sr. age 61 of 5780 Colonist Dr. Fairburn, GA passed away at Doctor's Hospice in Fayetteville, GA. He was born in Detroit, Michigan. He is the son of the late Noah Turner and the late Beatryce Montgomery Turner. He was a self-employed business developer. He was also a member of Unity City Church of Decatur. He is survived by his wife, Carol Anne Turner of Fairburn, 2 daughters, Anne Beatryce Turner of Fairburn and Rarsheeda Raspberry of Gainseville. Son, Michael E. Turner Jr. of Atlanta, Granddaughter, Dakeedra 'KiKi' Raspberry of Gainseville. Visitiation will be held Friday May 18th, 2012 from 3:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. at Holly Hill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cancer Treatment Centers Midwest Regional Center 2520 Elisha Ave., Zion, IL 60096 Holly Hill Funeral Home 431 SW Broad St. Fairburn, GA 30213 is in charge of the arrangements. A Dear FriendMichael was a great friend devoted husband and father, you will be truly misssed my friend.
Carol, My dear friend, I am so very sorry this sad loss has come into your life now. It is wonderful to see Michael’s photo and recall his smiling face and the great music he brought to Unity Christ Church Jonesboro in those bygone days that we all spent together. You and Anne Bea are in my thoughts daily and in my heart hourly and always. I so appreciate your phone call last Wednesday. Dear Sweet Carol, We are so very sorry about your loss. I enjoyed the day you, Amy Roberts and I were counting money at school for the Pennies for Patients program. Carol, I was just made aware of Mr. Turners passing, I am so very sorry! I picked up the phone to call him today….I searched the internet and found this site. Mr. Turner was always available to take my calls, and help me start the next great business venture. He was a wealth of information and a phenomenal human being, I am so sorry and devastated…….
