Sadie Stegall was born April 15, 1933, in Winston, GA, to the late Donald Bates and Dora Shackleford. She was raised in Douglasville. She later moved to Fairburn where she was raised by James and Dora Brown. She was married to the late Willie Cleveland Stegall in 1955 and preceded in death by 3 children; Sandra Ann Stegall, Karen Ann Stegall, and Michael Stegall. She retired from Atlas Casing. She leaves her 3 Children; Willie C. Stegall (Runt), Clarence (and Barbara) Stegall, Julia Ann (and Jerry) Daveport; 6 Grandchildren, Clarence (Jodi) Stegall Jr., Jimmy (Dree) Walker Jr., Antonio Walker, Chelsey Stegall, Darius Daveport, and Lamar Daveport; 2 Great Grandchildren, Canon Stegall and Camarhi Stegall; 2 Aunts from Douglasville, a host of cousins, family, and friends. Funeral Services for Mrs. Sadie Stegall will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013 from the chapel of Holly Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Dorsey officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Donda Bridges, Tony Horne, Willie Horne, Charles Hunt, Ricky McCormick, Dana Moore, and Allen Shropshire. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11 AM for visitation. Holly Hill Funeral Home, 431 SW Broad Street, Fairburn, GA 30213 has been entrusted with arrangements.
