Alexandrine Carmie Jarvis, age 92, of College Park, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. She was born on October 29, 1926, in Pointe Caribe, Dominica, to Robert Fontaine and Carie Benoir Fontaine. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jarvis. She is survived by: daughters, Mary Phillips of London, England, Marilyn Alcendor and her husband, Ralph, of College Park, MarcellaStewart and her husband, Gregory, of St. Johns, Virgin Islands and Catherine Jarvis of St. Croix; sons, Jules Jarvis of London, England, Steve Jarvis and his wife, Paulette, of St. Croix and Matthew Jarvis and his wife, Joselyn, of St. Johns, Virgin Islands; brother, Hubert Fontaine of Dominica; thirteen grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2019, in the chapel of Holly Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
