Frances Laura Mitchell

Frances Laura(Stubbs) Mitchell, age 78, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019. She was born on March 20, 1941, in Fayetteville, to Franklin and Laura (Wright) Stubbs. She was preceded in death by herhusband, Wincel Mitchell, son, Johnny Mitchell and daughter, Janie Mitchell. She is survived by: daughters, Cecilia Cussins of Griffin and Jessie Lockwood of Forest Park; son, Billy Mitchell of Griffin; companion, Maxie Mitchell of Hogansville; sister, Hazel Stamm of Kentucky; brother, Melvyn Hemrick of McDonough;eleven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, in the chapel of Holly Hill Funeral Home. Speaker, Lucretia Chilton will officiate.
