October 12, 1956 ~ March 2, 2024

Joseph Francis (JK) Kwok of Douglasville, GA, age 67, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Tranquility Hospice in Austell, GA after a short illness from cancer. JK was born in New York City, NY, on 10/12/56 and retired from Metropolitan Transit Authority. The joys of his life were his two sons and his family. While he missed NY, he moved to Georgia in 2016 to marry and gained many new friends. Not only did he enjoy discovering good food, but he also loved to travel, golf, and drive his Corvette and Mustang. He enjoyed his Port Charlotte, FL home for many years. JK was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church in Dallas, GA. He is survived by his wife, Susan Tibbitts of Douglasville, GA, son, Joey (Ghizlane & Leyan) Kwok of Temple, GA, son, Jake (KC & grandson expected May, 2024) Kwok of Queens, NY, brother, John Kwok & Family of Queens, NY, sister, Jane Kwok Yee (John) & Family of Queens, NY, stepchildren, Blake (Lila & Easton) Tibbitts of Roswell, GA, (Michael &) Megan Cherry of Lexington, KY, (Billy &) Allyson Snyder of Oakland, CA, mother-in-law, Betty Brown of Dallas, GA, brothers- and sisters-in-law, Calvin & Cindy Thompson of Dallas, GA, Jimmy & Jennifer Davis of Villa Rica, GA, Jack & Elaine Stanley of Villa Rica, GA, and several nieces & nephews. There will be a private family service. Donations may be made in his memory to New Canaan Baptist Church, 3147 Atlanta Hwy, Dallas, GA 30132 or to a favorite charity.
