Timothy’s life was transformed when he met the love of his life, Denisha Nicholson. The two united in holy matrimony on April 21, 2008, building a marriage rooted in faith, love, and partnership. Together, they created a beautiful family, welcoming their first child, Nehemiah, in February 2009, followed by Evaiyah in August 2011, and Grace in November 2016. Timothy’s greatest joy was his family, and he led them with wisdom, love, and unwavering commitment. Timothy’s passions reflected his devotion to God and his creative spirit. He found fulfillment in preaching and teaching the Word of God, guiding the lost to salvation, and building systems of support within his community. His talents extended to singing, playing the guitar, and videography—expressions of joy and creativity that enriched his life and the lives of those around him. As the Assistant Pastor of Christ Cathedral Church of God, Timothy served faithfully, leaving a legacy of leadership and faithfulness to God’s mission. His unwavering dedication to his calling inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Timothy leaves behind a profound legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his cherished wife, Denisha A. Ashley, and their beloved children: Nehemiah T. Ashley, Evaiyah Y. Ashley, and Grace T. Ashley. He is also survived by his loving mother, Bernice Ashley, and his siblings: Verron Ashley, Alisa Williams, Sylvia Ashley, Shante Johnson, Billy Johnson Jr., and Jennifer Johnson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will forever treasure his memory. Timothy’s life was a testament to the power of faith, the beauty of family, and the grace of a servant’s heart. He was a devoted husband, an extraordinary father, and a steadfast man of God. Though he has been called home, his legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
