Tori Latrice Ginn Nichols

May 22, 1976 ~ March 27, 2024

Her Story and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying neither shall be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.” Revelations 21:4 With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a cherished soul whose light brightened every room she entered. Tori passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and boundless joy. Tori Ginn Nichols was born May 22, 1976, the loving daughter of Deborah Jackson. Tori spent her early years in Jersey City, NJ. She attended Lincoln High School, graduating in 1994, and Katherine Gibbs School where she graduated with a Certificate in Business Administration in 1996. She went on to work at US Trust NY for 2 years, securing the position of HR Assistant. This would be the start of her long career in Human Resources. She dedicated 23 years at Kate Spade & Company as a Benefits Supervisor. In 2019, Tori relocated to Powder Springs, GA, where she worked at Blue Ally Technologies as a Senior HR Generalist. A devoted mother and wife, Tori poured her heart and soul into her family, loving her children Nia and Brandon with an unwavering devotion and being a steadfast partner to her beloved spouse Niam. Her nurturing spirit and endless patience were the cornerstones of her family’s happiness. Tori was not only a loving mother and wife but also a beacon of intelligence and wit. Her sharp mind and quick wit illuminated conversations, infusing every moment with laughter and joy. Her presence was a gift, enriching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Tori found joy in vacationing with her family, hosting special events in her home, and performing karaoke. Her favorite song to perform was Midnight train to Georgia. Above all, Tori cherished her relationship with her mother Deborah, drawing strength and guidance from their deep bond. Their love was a testament to the enduring power of family and the profound impact of a mother’s love. Tori was preceded in death by her grandparents Lillie and Omer Jackson; aunts Elaine Collins, Karen and Esther Jackson and Annette Chisholm; uncles Horace Zimmerman, Kareem Salaam, Omer, Joseph and Michael Jackson. Tori is survived by her husband Niam Nichols; children Nia and Brandon; mother Deborah Jackson; bonus dad Oliver Sandiford; in-laws Latisha and Darrell Chisolm and Salena Nichols; aunt Diane Jackson; cousins Valerie, Kimberly, Monica, Joycelyn, Jacqulyn and Cierrah; and close friends Tasha, Glenda and Renee. As well as a host of cousins and many friends. Though she may no longer walk among us, Tori’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her memory be a blessing and may her legacy of love and laughter continue to inspire us all.
