Jack Ennist Howell

June 1, 1961 ~ January 1, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Howell, born on June 6, 1961, in Youngstown, Ohio, and peacefully departing from this world on January 1, 2024, in Lithonia, Georgia. Jack succumbed to cancer, leaving behind a void in the hearts of his family and friends. Jack was predeceased by his brother Clemon Howell, Jr. and sister Catherine (Howell) Richard. He is survived by his mother Mary Lee Howell, father Clemon Howell, and stepmother Dorthy (Adamson) Howell.Jack will be remembered fondly by his sisters Bobbie Howell of Fairburn, Georgia, April Howell of Youngstown, Ohio, Michelle Jacobs of Boston, Massachusetts, and stepsister Robin Jackson of Columbus. His legacy also lives on through his brothers Larry Howell of Tunica, Mississippi, Henry Howell of Boston, Massachusetts, Cornel Howell of Ohio, Raymond Howell, Tyron Howell of Boston, Massachusetts, and Darrin Howell of Boston, Massachusetts.Jack's nieces, Dawniquiea Howell, LaToya Hale, and Shalisa Dunn, as well as nephews Robert Hale and Reginal O’Neal, mourn the loss of their dear uncle.Jack's presence will be dearly missed by a multitude of family and friends. Having graduated from The Rayven High School in 1980, Jack embarked on a journey with the US Army after graduation, where he served as a cook. His passion for watching football, particularly the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State, was well-known among those close to him. In his departure, Jack leaves behind cherished memories, a legacy of love, and a network of grieving hearts. May he find eternal peace, and may his family and friends find solace in the beautiful moments shared with him throughout his life. Jack Howell will be remembered dearly, and his spirit will forever reside in the hearts of those who knew and loved him."We all love you, Jack. Rest in peace." A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00am on January 11, 2024, at: Miller Grove Baptist Church195 Senoia RoadFairburn, Georgia 30213.
