I had the honor of being Janece’s 5th grade teacher, and even now, I can still see her warm smile and the light she brought into our classroom. Janece was the kind of student every teacher hopes for—always sweet, genuinely helpful, incredibly hardworking, and so very smart.
She had a gentle spirit that made everyone feel welcome and valued. Whether she was quietly helping a classmate understand a lesson or offering to lend a hand when no one asked, Janece always led with kindness. Her heart was as bright as her mind.
Janece approached learning with curiosity and determination. She asked thoughtful questions, tackled challenges with patience, and inspired those around her with her dedication. Even at a young age, she had a maturity and grace that stood out.
Though her time with us was far too short, Janece left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her. I will always remember the joy she brought to our classroom and the kindness she showed every day. It was a privilege to be part of her journey.
With deepest sympathy and love,
Ms. Anderson
