I had the honor of being Janece’s 5th grade teacher, and even now, I can still see her warm smile and the light she brought into our classroom. Janece was the kind of student every teacher hopes for—always sweet, genuinely helpful, incredibly hardworking, and so very smart.
She had a gentle spirit that made everyone feel welcome and valued. Whether she was quietly helping a classmate understand a lesson or offering to lend a hand when no one asked, Janece always led with kindness. Her heart was as bright as her mind.
Janece approached learning with curiosity and determination. She asked thoughtful questions, tackled challenges with patience, and inspired those around her with her dedication. Even at a young age, she had a maturity and grace that stood out.
Though her time with us was far too short, Janece left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her. I will always remember the joy she brought to our classroom and the kindness she showed every day. It was a privilege to be part of her journey.
With deepest sympathy and love,
Ms. Anderson

Janece was like my best friend she always found a way to make everybody laugh even when we didn’t want to it’s crazy to think that somebody i used to hang around everyday from 5th-7th grade has passed away it hurts to think that i was t able to be there through all of the hard time u had been going through, we never left each other side no matter what we was always 10 toes behind each other even though we knew we would probably get in trouble but knowing us we didn’t care . We had so many fun and crazy time together u came over my house for the cook out had two full plates of food we dance the night away with no care in the world, at the end of the day ur body may be gone but your precious soul glowing smile and silly laugh is not Rest Easy 4EVER13 I LOVE YOU MY BEST FRIEND 💕🙏🏾
