Anthony Michael Patti, 79, was born on May 25, 1947, in the Bronx, New York, to Gaspare Patti and Rose Catalano Patti. He passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026 in Marietta, Georgia, surrounded by those who loved him.
Anthony was a graduate of Cardinal Hayes High School and went on to attend Fordham University, where he studied pre-med. Before graduating, his interest in medicine would take on a different meaning when he answered his country’s call to service.
In 1969, during the Vietnam War, Anthony volunteered for the draft and was sworn into the United States Army. He trained as a combat medic and served as an operating room technician. It was during his service in Fort Gordon, GA that Anthony met Rosemary, who would become his beloved wife of 54 years.
After his military service, Anthony built a long career in Finance. He was a thoughtful and capable man who took pride in his responsibility to provide for his family.
Anthony found joy in many things throughout his life, including time with family, traveling, investing, photography, woodworking, and never missed an opportunity to joke with a stranger. He also loved giving his time to others. He coached his daughters’ softball teams and volunteered — always finding ways to contribute to his community.
His Christian faith was an important part of his life. At Roswell Street Baptist (Mission Church), he served as a Deacon, Treasurer, and Director of the Life Group. He also served as Chairman of Trustees and Treasurer for the Noonday Baptist Association. In his neighborhood, he served as Treasurer of the Neighborhood Homeowners Association. Through these roles, Anthony gave generously of his time, his talents, and his sense of responsibility.
Anthony is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemary Patti; his daughters, Christine (Sean) Lewis and Laura Patti; his grandchildren, Brenden Lewis, Aiden Lewis, and Holden Lewis; and his sister, Ann Patti Barretta. He was also preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter, Addison Lewis.
Anthony will be remembered for his devotion to his family and the countless ways he gave his time to others. He was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, friend, and servant. His life was marked by service, faith, responsibility, and devotion to the people he loved. He will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 22, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Mission Church Roswell Street, 774 Roswell St NE, Marietta, GA 30060. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North American Mission Board.

So sorry to hear about Anthony’s passing. We always had a great time with Anthony and Rosemary at the cousins reunion. Anthony was a good Christian man and we know he’s in heaven . Until we meet again.

Christine ,Lori, and dear Rosemary you should be at peace knowing what a special man Anthony was. I am just a cousin-inLaw from Arkansas . I loved our coversations about financial management and could talk hou r s about past and future of it. We so enjoyed when they came to visit us in Fort Smith. He was a very special person.

Bobby was best man at Tony and Rosemary’s wedding and Tony was our best man. Tony was funny, a wiseguy, and caring guy, he will be missed. We all had some fun adventures!
Although we were separated by a couple of hundred miles, I always knew if I needed anything, Tony would definitely come through. Rosemary my thoughts and prayers are with you and your children. Love Corinne and family🙏❤️

Rosemary, I am sorry to hear about Tony. You and your sweet family will be in my prayers. I will never forget the knowledge that he had and shared with me all the through the years we were in the Round Table Group. The love that he had for you and your family always showed through anytime you were around him.
