Jeannie was a class act as was Darien. We are sad she’s gone but perhaps she’ll be reunited with Darien.
Dear Family and friends,
I share your sadness even though I haven’t seen her in 50+ years. I remember a pretty, vivacious girl that all the boys admired. There are no words to lift this present pain; it never leaves but you get used to it eventually. I will pray for your families.
Shalom, agape & HOPE, John

Jeannie was vivacious, funny and always kind. I admired her spirit and her ever-ready smile. She will be greatly missed. We are all better for having known her. Deepest sympathy to her family and dear ones everywhere.
We were not close acquaintances, but I remember her friendly personality and her enthusiasm for SPHS activities. I was not aware of Darien’s passing. The world is
richer for their having been here. My heart goes out to their children and families. May Light Perpetual shine upon them. The Rev. David G. Badgley (ret)
I remember the day she and her sister first set foot in SPHS. Hermie (Darien) was immediately taken with her. What a great friend Jeannie was to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.

I am very proud to say that Jeannie is my sister. I will miss her so very much and will love her forever; she was a very special person. All my love to Debbie and Steven.
Jeannie and I became very close friends in our junior year of high school, we lived two blocks from each other and either I was at her house or she was at mine. Sooooo many wonderful fun times. We remained close friends over all these hears, sometimes not touching base for a couple years but always got back together. Life gets in the way sometimes. I loved her so much, we were different in many ways but understood each other for who we were and best of all, we ALWAYS had lots of laughter between us. 12 days before she died, I arrived at her house and we sat on the couch together for 8 hours, reminiscing, laughing, holding hands, hugging. I will miss her TERRIBLY. Godspeed and rest in peace my Jeannie.
