They participated in several mission trips and were active in Sunday School. Betty delighted in cooking and baking, and many felt her love through her food. Betty will be most remembered for her sweet smile, the overflow of her joyful and loving heart, and for her unwavering faith. Outside of her devotion to family, Betty had a passion for gardening. She loved to plant and grow flowers of unusual and rare types. Also, she was an active member of the Jonquil Garden Club and a lifetime member of the Garden Club of Georgia. Her other passion was the care and nurturing of wild birds, but especially blue birds. She had a special relationship with the blue birds in her backyard when she rang a bell the blue birds would come to the feeder. A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Agape Foundation, P.O. Box 801087, Acworth, GA.
