Beverly Ann Brill-Phelps

December 5, 1938 ~ January 10, 2021

Born December 5, 1938 in Mobile, Alabama to Charles Oscar and Harriet Coon Brill, and passed from this life January 10, 2021 in Kennesaw, GA. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, James Phelps of Kennesaw, GA., daughter Jacqueline Michele Sands Brill (Charles) of Soddy Daisy, TN, son Robert Wesley Sands (Melinda) of Powder Springs, GA, son Adam Phelps (Heather) of Kauai, HI, and daughter Amanda Phelps Moore (Taurus) of Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister, and is survived by sister Harriet Brill Outlaw (Perry) of Fairhope AL, sister Betty Brill Hood of Daphne, AL, brother Carl A. Brill (Sandi) of Daphne, AL, and sister-in-law Ruby Brill of Summerdale, AL. Beverly was Grandma BB to ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and Aunt BB to many nieces and nephews, all showered with her affection. She will forever be remembered for her caring spirit and her love for gatherings of family and her many friends. After developing a successful business in Houston, TX, she resided on Kauai, HI. There she performed wedding celebrations for couples at her home, a sacred Hawaiian site enhanced by her love for gardening and a green thumb. She maintained friendships developed during those years when she and her husband Jim moved to Kennesaw, GA. The magnificent legacy that Beverly leaves includes her needlework art. She gave away more handmade creations than can be counted. Every family member will forever treasure the heirlooms she made, including crochet, embroidery, and needlepoint. But none are treasured more than the memories she created for everyone she knew. The beauty of her spirit was the very meaning of the Christmas season, which she loved passionately. All year long, her home created the feeling most people experience only for a short time each year. Beverly Brill Phelps, lived out the joy of the most blessed gift of her Father God when he sent His Son at Christmas time. In every way - on every day. She felt deeply, loved unconditionally, cared gently, and shared selflessly.
