Bobby W. Baker, 74, of Acworth, passed away March 14, 2017. He retired after 40 years from Norfolk Southern Railway. He enjoyed to sing, fish, photography, sports and most of all to spend time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Lela Baker, of Ringgold, his brother, Charles Baker (Ann) of Marietta. Bobby is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gayle Beason Baker, son Mike Baker (Vickie), daughter Cindy Fisher (Michael), daughter Amy Widdel (Jason), seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He served the Christian Church and various community organizations for over 35 years. Above all, he loved Jesus. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Southern Cremations and Funerals at Cheatham Hill Columbarium Chapel. www.SouthernCremations.com.
