Brenton Ludlow Forbes

January 24, 1961 ~ September 5, 2021

Brenton Ludlow Raule Forbes was born on January 24, 1961 in Kingston, Jamaica to Brenton and Lorna Forbes. In his early years, Brenton attended Catholic school in Kingston but later when his parents migrated, he moved to live with his grandparents in Mt. Moreland, St. Catherine Jamaica. Here Brenton flourished and discovered his love for animals and for living life in the country. At age 11, he migrated to the United States and lived in Brooklyn, NY with his parents and siblings. Later the family moved to Queens Village where he spent his adolescent years. Brenton attended Junior High School 109 and then Andrew Jackson High School. After graduation, he followed his passion for animals and worked as a horse groomer at Belmont Racetrack. This he enjoyed immensely! His only daughter Nitasha was born on July 24, 1981. He cared for her when he was not working at the racetrack. Soon, Brenton moved to California to be with his older brother Wayne who was working as a Correction Officer. In time, he joined his brother, and became a Correction Officer as well. California Medical Facility and California State Prison Solano were his places of employment for over18 years. Brenton was medically retired and soon, he moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida where he resided for a few years and then moved to Covington, GA to be closer to his parents. Sports especially horse racing and car racing were his loves. However his affinity for all types of music was undeniable. Brenton met the love of his life Hillary in 2015 and quickly established a relationship. With her he said, ‘my soul is at peace’. He respected, admired, and supported all her endeavors. Finally, he married his ‘best friend’ on December 6, 2020. He leaves to mourn his wife Hillary, daughter Nitasha, father, Brenton Howard Siblings Wayne, Tania and Howard.
