Mr. Charlie Johnson Sr. was preceded in death by his spouse, Jessie McDonald and 1 great grandson, Duvon. He is survived by their 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Eligah and Ossie Mae Johnson, his brother, Willie James Johnson, and his sister, Lorene Miller. Nephew, Michael Johnson.
He is survived by two siblings: his sister, Sara “Rosa” Sue Dixon and brother, Elijah Johnson Jr.
He also leaves to cherish his memory, his children: His son, Charlie Johnson Jr., (Toni Johnson), and their 3 children, Sheridon McGrew, Varyus Johnson, and Variah Johnson; his daughter, Sonya Johnson and her 3 children, Morgan Leday, Kayla Billard, and Jonathan Martin; his daughter, Cynthia Harris, (Kevin Holloway Harris Sr.), and their 3 children, Amanda Jeffries Hardy, Kevin Holloway Harris Jr., and Casey Holloway Harris; his daughter, Cheryl Thompson, (James Thompson), and their 2 children, Joseph Thompson and Jasmine Thompson; and his son, Dexter Jones, (April), and their 5 children, Dexter Jones Jr., China Jones, Demari Jones, Jordan Simpson Jones, and Kyson Jones
