Charlotte C Paschal

September 21, 1953 ~ October 29, 2019

Charlotte Cecilia Paschal of Villa Rica, GA, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2019 surrounded by her loving family after a 6-year bout with Stage 4 cancer. She was a miracle, indeed. Charlotte was born in Griffin, GA on September 21, 1953, daughter of the late Reverend Nathaniel and Johnnie Will (Reid) Dumas. She spent her formative years in Atlanta, Georgia and gave birth to her loving, incomparable daughter after graduating from Job Corps. Years later, she married Jerome Paschal, of Union City, Georgia, and their union produced two beautiful sons. Charlotte was a woman of steadfast faith and a prayer warrior who encouraged all she encountered in their own spiritual journey and faith. She meant a lot to our family, and truly was a matriarch in every sense of the word. Additionally, her family and friends will remember Charlotte for her passionate relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Family was key to her life and she loved and influenced her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She always reminded them that “God loves us the most”. With Charlotte’s arrival, Heaven just became a bit more exciting. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sons, Sidney and Jershar Paschal, her sister, Mattlyn Maud Small, and her brother, Nathaniel Lamar Dumas. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Petra Winrow and her husband, Christopher Winrow of Villa Rica, GA, seven grandchildren, Michael Dumas, Derrell McCullough, Jerrell McCullough, Alexander Dumas, Amber Dumas, Jeremy Dumas, and Nathan Winrow, all of Villa Rica, GA, 1 great-granddaughter, Faith McCullough, four sisters, Dorothy Martin of Griffin, Georgia, Justine Smith of Wilmington, Delaware, Elaine Dyson of Atlanta, Georgia and Lesia Gooden of Atlanta, Georgia. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and dear friends.
