Claude Jerome Hawkins was born on November 26, 1970 to the union of Julia
and Warren Lee Hawkins, Sr. in Camilla, GA.
Claude gave his life to Christ at an early age and he always knew God was with
him. He received his formal education from Mitchell-Baker High School in
Camilla, GA. After graduation he wanted to start a new chapter in his life and he
moved to Atlanta, GA where he met the love of his life, Rosalyn. Claude decided
early on in his career that he wanted to be an entrepreneur and he started his
lawn care service. The ambition to be his own boss led him to his true passion for
cooking and Uncle Claude’s BBQ was born. He proudly & successfully ran Uncle
Claude’s BBQ for 23 years. Claude loved God, his wife, and all of his family.
Claude Hawkins transitioned from this life on Sunday, June 14, 2020 and was
preceded in death by his mother Julia Hawkins, father Warren Lee Hawkins, Sr.,
brothers Willie B. Hawkins and Joseph Hawkins.

Janarrio Jones(Shakwita); his daughters, Tiffany Jones and Jasmine Snell;

We are forever altered by your absence, but we are forever changed by your
presence. One of his favorite scriptures was Mark 11 v 24: Therefore I say unto
you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and
ye sha’ll have them. Thank you for being a faithful servant Claude Hawkins.
