Clifford Allen Fowler

Clifford Allen Fowler passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3rd 2026 at the age of 85. Clifford was born on July 22nd, 1940 to James Allen Fowler and Mary Melinda Fowler in Nelson, GA. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Juanita and Barbara. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Mary Martin Fowler, his siblings Thelma and David, his children Susan and Wayne, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Clifford served a tour in the Navy during peace time on board the USS Ranger and saw a lot of the world during his time of service. He had been retired for many years but no matter the task before him, he tackled it with hard work and dedication. His passions included spending time with family, traveling, golfing, country music, and watching sports. He was a dedicated friend and loving family man who will be remembered for his sharp intellect, his helpful nature, and his light-hearted sense of humor. He was always quick to share a joke and a laugh with anyone nearby, whether they be a friend or stranger. He will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held at Southern Cremation and Funerals at Cheatham Hill on Monday July 13th at 2 PM, 1861 Dallas Hwy Marietta, GA. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation in his honor.
