Courtney Nicole King, 31, was born on July 20, 1995, in Daytona Beach, Florida, and passed away on August 18, 2026, at Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, Georgia, surrounded by love.

About Courtney

Courtney found happiness in the simple things in life. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing games, drawing, painting, and spending time with her family. She had a caring heart and found joy in looking after the people closest to her.

Her dogs, Jax and Zoey, held a special place in her heart and were an important part of her life, bringing her companionship and so much joy.

Her Family

Courtney is survived by her mother, Heather Wilson; her father, Eric King; her fiancé, Allen Harris; her stepfather, Frank Wilson; her sisters, Haylee Wilson and Linda Wilson; her brother, Joseph Wilson; her grandmother, Kathleen Rees; her grandfather, Michale King; her aunts, Eveon Hanes and her husband, Robert Hanes, Valerie Rees, Brandye Johnson, and Donna Harper; and her nieces and nephews, Sharya and Deuce Smith.

She also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Jax and Zoey.

Closing

Courtney will be remembered through the love she shared, the things she created, and the many moments that made her uniquely herself. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain close in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

Service

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Courtney on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Southern Cremations & Funerals – McDonough, 640 McGarity Rd, McDonough, Georgia 30252.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM.

  13. Courtney was my Best friend for the longest. We were inseparable. She was always at my house and I was always at hers. We went on different paths and didn’t hang out as adults but my best childhood memories are from our inside jokes and us staying up all night painting our clothes. This one hurt. 😞 Rest Easy Courtney! You were one of the best friends I have ever had and I will miss you forever!

  16. Oh Courtney😢 you, Britt, BP, and Kim stayed at my house so much when y’all were in high school! You always brought laughter to our home! You stood up for Britt so many times! I know we haven’t spoken in a long time but I hope your resting easy! Tell Paul and TJ hello for me and I miss them so much!! I am praying for all of your family and friends!
