David Brian Burdette

David Bryan Burdette passed away at his home in Rockmart, Georgia on the 26th of June 2018 at the age of 57. David is predeceased by his mother Helen Burdette, his father Thomas Burdette, his brother Terry Burdette, his sister Shirley Totten. David is survived by his loving wife and best friend Cathy Burdette of 35 years. They were married in Marietta GA on the 20th of March 1983. He will always be lovingly remembered by his daughter Melissa Taylor. His brother Eddie (Tom) Burdette. His Sister Debbie Garrett. His nephew Davey Totten. His niece Gina Mitchem. His niece Diane King. His niece Stacy Burdette. His Grandson Austin Parker and his granddaughter Kayleigh Parker. David was born in Fontainebleau, France on the 5th day of December 1960. He acquired his GED and began his attendance at Chattahoochee Technical College, graduating in 1989 he then began his career at Wellstar Cobb Hospital where he worked for 28 years. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, music and spending time with his family. The visitation will be held on Sunday July 1st at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. Found at 1861 Dallas Highway, Marietta, GA 30064. From 1pm until 3pm. Prayers will be offered from 2pm to 3pm at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. Found at 1861 Dallas Highway, Marietta, GA 30064. The funeral service will be held at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. Found at 1861 Dallas Highway, Marietta, GA 30064 on the 1st day of July with Pastor Troy Hall officiating. Burial will follow at 4pm.
