Guestbook

  1. Marsha and family, It was such an honor to be trusted with David’s care for the last part of his journey. He loved you all dearly, and that was evident by the conversations we shared. Praying for peace and comfort.

  2. Gary and I would like to extend our sincere condolences to Marsha and David’s family. Marsha was always unfailing in her devotion and care for David. I believe David knew what a lucky man he was when they found each other and married. He was Marsha’s biggest cheerleader and she was always there for David. David would always tell me how much he loved her. David would also tell me how much he loved his sons. Rest In Peace David.

  3. Theresa, Heide and Jeffrey JR says:

As you grieve know that we are remembering you and honoring the memory of “David Barton Jr.”.

  4. So many fond memories of my Dad. I looked up to him & he will be greatly missed!!

  5. Marsha and I worked together at GTRI for many years. I admired her strength as I knew there were challenges balancing full-time work with providing care and attention to her husband’s health difficulties. She never complained and stayed positive despite the chronic fatigue. I had the privilege of meeting David on a couple of occasions. I saw the strong marital bond and genuine love for each other that is forged as each person navigates difficult times together. I am sorry I did not have the chance to get to know him better but in some ways feel like I did through Marsha. She shared many stories of David’s law enforcement career and personal life. I send my sincere condolences to Marsha and David’s extended family. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

  6. With love Shivon Scott says:

  7. In memory of David Barton Jr. – Loving Husband, Father, and Public Servant.

  9. I sat next to him in several classes at Cross Keys. He was always kind and fun to be around. Prayers of comfort for his family
